Marbella’s Five Best Beach Clubs

Best Beach Clubs In Marbella During Summer
One of the best things about summer in Marbella is being able to spend time at the beach. Soaking up the sun, braving a dip in the sea and enjoying lunch at one of Marbella's fabulous beach bars is what a holiday to the Costa del Sol is all about!

But whether you're looking for a family friendly beach club or somewhere a little more rowdy where you can party all day (and night!), Marbella has a range of beach clubs designed to suite everyone. Here at Marbella living, we've put together a list of the best beaches for every kind of holiday:

1. Ocean Club
One of Europe’s largest beach-side venues, Ocean Club is popular with the Marbella’s glamourous, and often famous, holiday makers. Expect to spot a few well known faces at one of their numerous champagne parties, often from a reality TV programme whose cast are known for their love of Marbs! The beach club boasts an excellent restaurant, awesome pool, fantastic cocktail menu and events throughout the summer, including their weekend Lazy Sunday sessions. There’s even an on-site spa to help strike the perfect balance of beach-side partying and relaxation.

2. Marbella Club
For a family-friendly trip to the beach, the Marbella Club offers an on-sight kids club. This means that mum and dad get some time to relax by the beach club’s heated seawater pool, or down by the sea, and sip a café con leche while the kids are entertained with arts, crafts, games and sports. Make sure you book your place in the kids club well in advance though!

The beach club restaurant is famous in Marbella for offering an international daytime buffet, featuring totally fresh ingredients. Choose from a range of exquisite salads, grilled-in-front-of-you meats, traditional paella and just-caught fish, lunch here is not to be missed.

3. El Chiringuito Marbella
This summer also sees an Ibiza establishment open its doors at Marbella’s own Puente Romano. Located at the former Del Mar Beach Club directly on the sand, El Chiringuito offers a laid back, relaxed atmosphere with excellent food, calming décor and refreshing juices, smoothies and cocktails. El Chiringuito has become one of Ibiza’s top beach clubs, winning numerous awards and becoming a favourite with international jetsetters, so it’s exciting to have such a well-known international brand join the Puente Romano’s already outstanding culinary offering.

4. Mahiki Beach
Polynesian and Tiki inspired beach club Mahiki Beach has opened this summer in Marbella. Known to attract many a wealthy and famous patron at the London Mayfair club (princes Harry and Wills have been spotted partying there in the past!), the Mahiki brand is already synonymous with discerning, fun-loving luxury. Teamed with Marbella-based La Sala group, who have already established some of Marbella’s finest dining and beachfront establishments, Mahiki Beach aims to transport visitors to a summer-long party in the tropics. Head to Mahiki for excellent food, creative cocktails and a fun vibe.

5. Playa Padre
Playa Padre has recently opened it´s door punctually welcoming the summer season. It is owned by the best friend of Eva Longoria - María Bravo. For the inauguration Pamela Anderson was invited as she is Playa Padre´s godmother. It is located at the Playa Cable that is well known among the Marbella residents and offers a wide sandy beach. Playa Padre has done a very good job converting this pale beach into a paradisiacal enclave surrounded by palmtrees and other plants converting it into a jungle atmosphere. The main house is covered by a straw roof giving a countrsyide look and offers big sunbeds enjoying the beautiful view onto the Mediterranean sea.
